Moving Stories

During a two-week residency at McNeil Canyon Elementary School in Homer, I led students K-6 in the creation of collaborative theatre pieces. Using movement exercises as the entry point, students developed characters and stories in small groups. At completion of the residency, students performed for one another and community members.
This project was supported by Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and the Alaska State Council on the Arts through the Artists in Schools program.
