Poetry in Motion
2019
I created the Poetry in Motion series in fall of 2019.
Each piece was made by selecting words, developing gestures for those words, filming the gestures, filtering the footage, and editing the footage into moving poems.
SWEEP SWIRL SPIN, WAIT with SPEED, and TOGETHER, WE BLOOM are collaborative community moving poems developed live during a First Friday gallery event at Kindred Post in Juneau, AK.
